Environment Day Celebrations
World Environment Day celebrations were held on June 5, 2024. Dr. K.V. Jayalakshmi, Principal Scientist and Head, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kottayam, was the resource person. The planting of fruit and medicinal saplings was done as part of the event. Rev. Fr. Shijo Konuparamban inaugurated the event. Dr. K.J. Abraham, HOD, Dept. of Zoology and Aquaculture; Dr. Titto Varghese (NSS Programme Officer); and Dr. Rekha A.G. (NSS Programme Officer). Lt. Roy Mathew (NCC ANO) and Dr. Bijumon C.C. spoke on the occasion. The event was jointly organized by NSS, NCC, Dept. of Zoology, and the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kottayam.
